Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. My heart goes out to the family. Death is something we will never get use to. In fact, God's Word refers to death as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) Very soon our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah God, will remove death once and for all and give us the opportunity to see our loved ones again here on the earth.

Dear Scott
Although we never met, I almost feel like I know you. Your mom was so proud of you and we talked about you often. Im sure you know that you were the light of her life (and Simon was probably in 2nd place) ! I worked for the phone co. and spoke with "Antie Lil" probably every day and could always hear her smile. She called me "Uncle Miltie" and tried to keep me out of trouble ... every day. After we both retired, we sent many emails and kept in touch. We I heard about her heart problem, I called from here in Peru (where I live) and assured her all would be ok. We had a great conversation and caught up on "the latest" laughed and joked and said our "I love you's" I do count myself as one who is both lucky and a better person for having met your mom. I will miss her. I usually do a poor job finding something to say when these things happen but a friend of mine who lost several under his command in Afghanistan said and it really stuck with me ... "We are all Gods children and He can call us home at any time." I hope these words give you and your family some comfort. You are all in my thoughts and prayers (and it's a local call from here... high in the Andes) love to all Mac
