Coffee & Conversation Series

Thompson Community Care invites seniors who are single or single again, age 55+, to gather for Coffee & Conversation on Tuesdays from 2-4PM. If you would like to enjoy good conversation with other folks over a cup of coffee, this is for you!
We meet in the education building at Cayce United Methodist Church, 1600 12th Street, Cayce, SC 29033. Enter the church parking lot located behind the church off Naples Ave.
*Cayce UMC has generously donated the meeting space but this program is not affiliated with the church. These gatherings are social in nature and no solicitation regarding services or products will be made.

2019 SC Korean Festival

The Korean Festival is one of the fastest growing cultural festivals in the Columbia community The Festival features dance and musical performances, from centuries past to modern K-Pop. There also will be taekwondo demonstrations and audience participation activities, as well as cultural exhibits and children’s games. And for those that love Korean cuisine, there will be Korean favorites like kimchi, kimbap, and bulgogi as well as Korean ice cream and desserts! Come learn about the Korean community in Columbia and about Korean culture. Admission for the event is free and tickets can be purchased for food and activities on site.

Lexington County Veteran's Parade

Come out to celebrate the service of our military veterans during the annual Lexington County Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Lexington! The event will honor the South Carolina National Guard, as well as the service of all of our military men and women!
We will be walking in the parade along with our Honor and Glory Coach. Don your red, white, and blue and join us for this patriotic and meaningful event.

Finding Peace, Love and Music in Caregiving
