Nancy you are a luminous light that has brightened the lives of so many, and we were fortunate enough to be in your presence through the USO. Your humor, compassion, and friendship is what we will always treasure the most. We hope that you are now in peace, watching over all of us, and by the side of your loving husband.

I met Nancy in April, 2009, she, my Wife (Nancy) and I were among the initial cadre that maned the "Lounge" prior to it becoming a USO. Nancy was always humorous and friendly to all the servicemen that began coming in. She loved talking about her travels and was planning another longer trip to England (which she later took). She "soldiered" on as we transitioned to a full blown USO continuing her volunteer work. She will be greatly missed.

I had the privilege of working with Nancy at special events for the USO of South Carolina. Unfortunately a year and a half was just not long enough. The way she could light up a room and share her joy for life with all was truly a gift.Thank you God for sharing this wonderful woman. Sally AndersonFlorida

I, too, was a keeper of the "Lounge" until it became the USO. And true, to testimony, Nancy met no strangers. Nancy, you embodied a sweet, sweet spirit that I will truly miss. I was truly fond of you, I wish I could have seen you one more time before God called you home, just to say "See ya". BUT, I'll see you again in Glory. To Nancy's family and friends, I offer my condolences.

I met Nancy two years ago through our volunteer work at the Armed Forces Lounge and then the USO. She immediately adopted me and called me her "Cuz." That was so Nancy and no truer words were spoken then Nancy never met a stranger. When she was around me I always found myself smiling or laughing. Nancy may have been short in stature but she was gigantic in generosity and personality! If she was in a room you would find her in the middle of a group and there would be laughing! She loved our military troops and whatever she could do to bring a smile to their faces she would do. I will miss her but I will never forget her. Rest in peace, Cuz. Vicki
