My condolences to the family. She was a loving mother and I enjoyed knowing her many years ago.

Barbara and I were classmates from the first grade until her family was required to move to Columbia.
I was truly saddened this morning when I read of Barbara Jean's passing. She was always friendly and engaging and loads of fun to be around. Along with being so pretty, she had quite a sense of humor. Alas, some stories are best left untold. Barbara's father and I worked for the same company and hunted together therefore there was some connection between us but after Mr. Dick died, the connection was lost.
We do not have the ability to bring back friends and relatives, people that we loved so very much. All we are able to do is to ask God for strength in getting through the tough times and help us to remember and cherish the memories.

To all the family of Barbara Dupre:
I knew "Barbara Jean" in the Denmark years--we were classmates. I had not heard of Barbara since she left. She may not have liked that very Southern double name but we (Denmark classmates) thought it was pretty and befitting.
KAHLIL GIBRAN is quoted, "When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight."
Sounds like Barbara had a very successful business and personal life. Aren't we all lucky to live in the USA?
Condolences to you,Jacquie, and all her family.
