Dear Family & Friends, Although we did not know Catherine Martin Driggers, we were sorry to learn of her unfortunate death. And while we do not know exactly how you feel, God certainly knows accurately how you feel. His word therefore promises that He will forever eliminate death, it's cause and resurrect those who have fallen victims to it. Marvelous good news indeed! (Isa. 25:8, Rev. 21:3,4, John 5:28, 29) For the time being, we mourn. It is only natural that we mourn the death of someone that we love because God did not create humans to die. As you probably know, the bible said in Geneses 1:27 " In God's image He made man" and God lives forever. Since we were created in His image, we too were created to live forever. You may ask: 'Then, why do people die if it was not in God's original plan?' Any defects in humans including death is as a result of human imperfection. Deuteronomy 32:4exclaims "that all of God's works are perfect". and verse 5 says that "the defect (or imperfections) is our own". But how is that so? Do you remember the account in Genesis when God told our first perfect human parents, Adam & Eve to be obedient and not eat from nor touch a certain tree in The Garden of Eden? They sinned by disobeying, passing on sin to us. Thus, death spread to ALL men as if we ALL committed that original sin (Roman 5:12). Will this continue forever? No. For death is an enemy says the bible and all of God's enemies WILL be brought to nothing! (1 Cor 15:26). That truly is good news! Thanks for reading this letter. Please share it with other grieving family members & friends. It is our hope that you've found comfort in the scriptures today. Sincerely, The Crump Family

Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you from Chattanooga, TN. I remember in the children's musical a few weeks ago at State Street someone had put a picture of your mom into the slide show. She looked so great, just like always. Wish I could be there to hug your necks. Only 11 months since my dad passed away. Peace of Christ, Martha

Catherine will always have a special place in my heart. She really touched my heart and reached out to help me during a hurting time in my life. I am amazed at how compassionate she was to so many people and always looking for a way she could get help for people or give some kind of joy to someone who needed uplifting. Everyone knew she loved her family and her lively spirit will live on in her family and for all the friends she had. I admired her out going personality. Praying for each one of her family and her friends.

To the Driggers Family: I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I worked with Catherine back in the 70s at the State Convention Office. She was a beautiful person and just thinking about her brings a smile to your face because you would certainly be smiling after talking with her. My prayers are with you during your loss. Mrs. Driggers worked with my father in the Sunday School Department. She had a very sweet spirit, and was a great friend to my family. It is impossible to know how many lives she touched, but we know that she has a special place in Heaven. Thank God for sharing her with us.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Please find comfort in the resurrection promise at John 5:28 that reads; "Marvel not at this, for the hour is coming when all that are in the graves shall hear his voice and come forth."
