Though I lost touch with you guys as we grew into adulthood, I will always treasure the days of my youth with Johnny. Buildin' amps, and radios,Playin' golf at Columbia Country Club, Fishin' in that big lake across from the club house, Taking joy rides in our father's company cars before we had a license, staying up all night listening to James Brown, flushing those cock roaches out of the manhole under the streetlight at the corner of his house. Many, many, many good memories and a lot of fun mischief. He was a good friend to me. All the stories told at his funeral made it abundently clear that he lived a full and faithful life with his family and friends. I will never forget him or the good times we had.

I will miss the wonderful jokes, the beautiful smile with the twinkle in his eye, the practical jokes, and the glorious times we had at the beach. I will miss the music trivia and all the laughter we shared. It was truly a blessing to know him and share our families. Love and miss you Johnny B! Hope you're enjoying your "baked beans" up there with your angel wings! Know we will always be there for Robin and your family! And your spirit will always be with us!

Dear Robin and all your family, I was so shocked and saddened to learn that Johnny had passed. I have only seen y'all occasionally since we left Greenlawn about 17 years ago but could never forget your special family and the tight bond of love you shared. Also, as many have said, you could never forget that smile and genuine warmth he extended to all. I will keep you in my prayers hoping that you feel God's love from all those around you...as well as Johnny's legacy from all those he touched. He's lighting up heaven with that smile; we will be blessed one day to see it again! Love, Karen, Carey, Clayton, Mary and William Crantford

Son, that was the name synonymous with Johnny Marshall when he was at his beloved Beach home. I'll never forget this wonderful man and his spirit and lovingness he showed to all he met, much less his friends and those he loved. I will miss him tremendously!! He was a great friend and took me into his life like a member of his family. His presence in my life the last 10 years was a true blessing. Sail on Son .....

Robin & family:During this difficult time in your lives we lift you all in our prayers. Johnny is a light that will forever glow in our hearts and minds. He left some pretty big shoes here at WWL and we don't think anyone will ever fill them quite the way he did. Johnny for you our friend: That baseball cap will be your crown and it will be filled with jewels. 2 TIMOTHY 4:7I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

If you are one of the fortunate ones to have have had Johnny for a friend, you had a TRUE friend for life. We have lost a loved one only in body, not spirit. Dear Robin, Johnny, Jennifer, Jean, Anne, and all Johnny's beloved family:Just cannot tell you how terribly sorry and sad our family is to hear that Johnny passed away after such a fight. He was a great man and always the first one to jump in to help with whatever was needed. My boys still remember the treehouse/zipline he built for all the kids to enjoy in your backyard.
