I'm sorry for the loss of this great man. He was my uncle and, unfortunately for most of my life, not as close as I would have liked, but I was, and always will be, forever grateful to him for his tremendous concern and gracious efforts in the mid-eighties, trying to reunite my mother and myself. He, and everyone in the McNeish family has always been in my prayers.

Dear family of Don, my mother, Clover Wolf, and I were so saddened to learn just today of Don's death. Until his battle with pneumonia, we ate with him almost every Sunday in the Palmetto Dining Room at Still Hopes and enjoyed his interesting and intelligent conversations. Please accept our condolences. May his beautiful soul rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon him.

Sorry to hear Uncle Donald has died. My sisters and brother have great memories and spent many good times with your Dad. I understand he had been quite sick and in the hospital. Sorry Mom Craig and I were unable to come up at this time. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Again sorry for your loss.

I was so sorry to hear of my dear friend, Don, passing. I appreciate so much you letting us know. He had always been like a mentor and "father figure" to me. We had visited him a couple of years ago and had just spoken of wanting to see how he was doing again. We will be in Atlanta and unfortunately not able to come to the funeral, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with the family. He was such a wonderful friend. Thanks again, Lori.....Don Kornahrens

Lori, I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I can still see him trying to fold that long body into a kindergarten size chair. I also remember how diligently he worked with the children. I hope he is prepping all the new babies ,yet to be born, by giving them the answers for future kindergarten assessments. He was a gracious gentleman. I know that you and your family will miss him.
