Miss Bess was such a good friend & neighbor when we lived in Heritage Hills in Lexington. We spent many an afternoon in her kitchen eating ice cream sandwiches and just talking. She was always so positive & shared the most interesting stories about her childhood & family. She had a delightful sense of humor and Mike & I just adored her. I will miss her dearly, but know that she is a beautiful angel in heaven. She was a light for all who knew her. I will miss you my dear Bess. You taught me what friendship is all about.

It was with a beautiful sadness that I read of Mrs. Chambers passing. I, like so many others, spent many, many hours seated side by side with Mrs. Chambers in the living room of her house on Aracoma, learning - not just piano, but how to be a good person in life. My memories will always be with me of my years "on the bench with Bess" and will always bring a smile to my face as I remember one of the great teachers in my life. My prayers go out to her family duing this time and I hope you too will allow your good memories to help you during this difficult time. Much love to you Mrs. Chambers.

Starting at age 9, she took me and taught me piano. She guided me to Dr. Taggart when she felt it was time for me to move on. She was an inspiration with a piano studio of over 100 students. I was able to visit her a few years ago in Orlando and play duets with her. She was a lovely lady and will be missed. Love you, Bess

Bess was my dear friend Susans aunt. I first met her when I was in elementary school. She would come to visit with Bill and Loretta. Great memories. A beautiful, gentle soul. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs Chambers. Not only did my family live on Aracoma Rd in East Pearidge but I was proud to take piano lessons from such a wonderful lady. I took lessons from her when the log house was in the origional location at the end of Aracoma. Praying for your family at this time.

Sorry to learn of Bess' death. She was a great gal! My husband Willis and I visited her in Lexington but lost touch when she moved to FL. We have many fond memories of Bess and Bill and their lovely log home in Huntington.

Granny Bess was my piano teacher in Heritage Hills where I grew up. She helped form me into the person I am today. Because of her time and patience, I have my degree in Music Therapy...I've thought of her often and will always have fond memories of my lessons with her.
