The Crump Family posted a condolence

Dear Family & Friends of Frankie B. Strange, Although we did not personally know Mr. Strange, we were sorry to learn of his unfortunate death. And while we do not know exactly how you feel, God certainly knows accurately how you feel. Therefore, he will lovingly forever eliminate death. Good news indeed! (1 John 4:8, Isa. 25:8, Rev. 21:3,4, John 5:28, 29) For now though, we naturally mourn the death of someone that we love because God did not create humans to die. Death is not natural because the bible stated at Geneses 1:27 " In God's image He made man". God lives forever. Since we were created in His image, we too were created to live forever. You may ask: 'Then, why do people die if it was not in God's original purpose?' The answer is -any defects in humans including death is as a result of human imperfection. (Deuteronomy 32:4) How is that, you may ask? Do you remember the account in Genesis when God told our first perfect human parents, Adam & Eve to be obedient and not eat from nor touch a certain tree in The Garden of Eden? They sinned by disobeying, passing on sin to us. Thus, death spread to ALL men as if we ALL had sinned says Romans 5:12. Will this continue forever? No. For death is an enemy says the bible and all of God's enemies WILL be brought to nothing! (1 Cor 15:26).Rejoice because that truly is good news! Thanks for reading this message. Please share it with other grieving family members & friends. It is our hope that you've found comfort in God's promises today.

We'll miss Frank but feel truly blessed to have had the privilege to know him. He was (and is) one who cares- a trait perhaps shared by more folks than we realize but something that was evident in all he did. While for him, "Every day [was] a holiday", even when it clearly wasn't, we know that every day for him from now on will be. Thanks for being you, Frank!!!

I had the privilege of working with Frank several years ago in planning West Side's mission trip to Peru. Frank was a man of God whose faith was strong. He was passionate about sharing that faith with anyone who didn't know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I am praying for your family and friends during these difficult days.

From the friendly confines of Frank's home I would have a sausage biscuit and coffee while we talked about what the Lord was doing in us and through us as we advanced the gospel through our daily lives. We even wet to Nicaragua on a mission trip in February and March of last year. He prayed for me, encouraged me and laughed with me. One of the last things he said to me was that I was very special to him. Frank was very special to me too. He was like another dad to me and it will not be the same without seeing him.
