Obituary of Edna B. Ledbetter

WEST COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Edna B. Ledbetter, 91, of West Columbia, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2013 at Trinity Baptist Church. Pastor Jim Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers will be TEL Sunday School Class. The family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. Memorials may be made to TEL Sunday School Class at Trinity Baptist Church, 2003 Charleston Hwy., Cayce SC 29033 or Pine Ridge Senior Center, 2757 Fish Hatchery Road, West Columbia, SC 29172. Mrs. Ledbetter, beloved wife of the late John W. Ledbetter, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Jim Bundrick and Janie Brown. She was a lifelong area resident and longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church and a member of TEL Sunday School Class. She was employed at Red Lobster for 41 years and retired in April of 2012. In 1996 she was named Red Lobster Regional Employee of the Year and in 2002 was honored by the South Carolina Hospitality Association as Employee of the Year. Surviving are her Daughter Donna L. Wingard (Steve); grandchildren, Jackie Lindstrom (Todd) and Reed Wingard (Alison); five great-grandchildren; and an extended family Barbara Jean and Robin. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by her sister, Amanda Marie Rich.
