Thank you Mike for you thoughts and prayers. It has been a long time since 7th grade, but the memories you shared about Kerry made me smile. He enjoyed talking about music so much. He went from local bands, including the Beach Band "Shagtime" with the Hit "Mr. Beach" to playing in our church till his health started to decline. Hope you are doing well. Thanks again. God bless.

So sorry to hear of Kerry's passing. My mother (Rosalie Shriner) was his Aunt. I have talked to him on the phone...what a kind, gentle soul he was. Always kept in touch with my mother, usually talked with her every Christmas. Rest in peace Kerry, your now with your father.

Dear Melissa,
I am so very sorry to hear of Kerry's passing. My heart goes out to you. I will never forget knowing Kerry and how kind he was and how enthusiastic about music he was and how much he enjoyed it. He was a very talented bassist and singer as well, and a great live performer. He was kind enough to let a wide-eyed kid like me play his Hofner and I've never forgotten that. Many years later I had a guitar in for repair and Kerry happened to come by the repair shop and noticed it and asked the repairmen who it belonged to. I was thrilled when he called me-this is long, long before cell phones- and we talked for a long time and it was like we picked up right where we'd left off when you and I were in 7th grade. It was so wonderful talking to him again. I will always remember that period of my life and I treasure it. I was truly blessed by it. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers Melissa, we had so much fun in those years. Kerry will never be forgotten!
May God bless and comfort you now and forever.
Mike Gregory

I am sorry to learn of Kerry's death. In high school Kerry and I were best friends. We were both bus drivers. Kerry introduced me to music and we played in a band together called "The Insteads" and played at the Rainbow Skating Rink on Friday nights. At one time Kerry's father was a doctor at CCI (Correctional Institute) and our band played for the inmates one Saturday afternoon. I had a lot of good times with his family and regret that we lost contact in our later years. His memory will remain in my heart forever and I will treasure all the good times we shared. You, his family, are in my thoughts and prayers.
Paul and Brenda Pilkington
