Helen
We were so sad to hear about Ms Zootie's passing. She was a true delight. We loved being her neighbor when we were on Fairhaven. She loved her family & her church. Such a beautiful spirit. I still can't believe she is gone. She will forever be missed.

Aunt Zootie was the best aunt any kid could hope for. And I know I speak for all 12 of her nieces and nephews, even though we are no longer even remotely children anymore, when I say that. She was always ready to indulge us, to be Santa Claus, to give to us.
She continued this by always giving to my children, becoming one of the greatest great- aunts around. She always had $2 bills to give, one of her signature items. She made the best pund cake ever. She took us for ice cream.
Her nickname sort of says it all. Zootie is a name that suited her perfectly. God speed. Say hello to your parents, your sisters and brother and you dear husband for us all. There must be a reunion going on in heaven.
Your niece, Helen Porter
