She was a very brave lady and I was lucky to know her. Ronnie you were so good to her. God bless your family, I know he did giving you her.

Ronnie,
So sorry I didn't learn that the Lord had called Leeverne home in time to allow me to attend her visitation and service, to express my sorrow personally to you and your family. Susan and I have "ya'll" in our thoughts and prayers.
I really enjoyed talking with her when she would come out to Boston Ave., or we would bump into each other somewhere. Having been through much of what she was going through, we had a lot in common. It was always uplifting to me to see how positive and faith-based she was in her outlook on her situation, as well as life in general.
However, while we all are saddened by her departure, we know where she is today.
More important, we know through our faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, how happy and pain free Leeverne is, and that one day we will see her again.
As you know, the Lord brings people into your life at different times, and for different reasons. Sometimes it is so that you can lift them up and minister to them in some way, other times it is so they can do this for you. I always felt that our discussions had this effect on both of us.
Hope to see you in the near future. God Bless,
Ron & Susan Cathey

God has taken an angel home, so now Leeverne can rest. Leeverne caring and loving ways was a very special part of her and all that knew her saw that each and every time you would see her. I worked with Leeverne at Wachovia for some years and it was nothing for her to pray with someone that needed it. I can say that I have never or since seen anyone do that. Leeverne was special to me and I love her dearly and will look forward to seeing her in heaven one day. Ronnie you and the rest of the family will be in my prayers.
