To the Collier family:
I knew Joye for most of our school years together through Hand Jr. High and Dreher, and she was the "glue" that held our Class of '53 together. She was also the "bubbly source of our inspiration" and we all loved and appreciated her voluntarily taking on the role of "coordinator" for our gatherings, communications services via email, and reunions. What a lovely and amazing person she was until the last, and it is so comforting to know she is now holding Jesus' hand as she waits for the rest of the "class of '53" to gather on the other side. I know she is enjoying her "promotion" to the Home Offices.

Joye
I'm sorry for your leaving us.
Hopefully, we will all be united again and you have just "gone on ahead" to prepare for the next Reunion.
Until then, we will miss you very much.

Please allow me to offer my condolences to the, Collier family with these comforting words: While grief at the loss of a loved one is great, joy at receiving back a loved one in the resurrection will be greater. (Mark 5:42) God's Word promises: "Your dead ones will live. (Isaiah 26:19; Acts 24:15) How wonderful that time will be! How satisfying it will be at that time to live in a world where there is no suffering! I am very sorry for your loss. May God's Word comfort you and your family. Sincerely, Meryl ~ crochetmerylsway@gmail.com

It was impossible to have a bad day around Joye. Her smile, sense of humor and "Joye-ful" spirit were contagious! She brightened every day that we worked together at ETV. What a kind and generous soul. I will love and miss you forever "Miss Joye." - Mitchell Kneece

Always smiling, always a kind word, always looking out for other people .- I never heard Joye make a critical comment about anybody. What a wonderful place the world would be if everyone were so thoughtful. She will surely be missed.

"Joye Carter", as we always called her, was a dear friend to us. We had some wonderful times with her when we lived on Lake Murray. We loved her dearly and she will be missed by so many friends. She was always there if anyone needed her. We know she is in a better place, but it's still saddens us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
With our deepest sympathy,
Carl & Kathy Colson
