A true friend, man of God and dedicated son.
I can not believe I'm writing this, my heart is broken.
May his family have peace knowing he is with our heavenly Father!
LD I would have been there for you had I known.
He loved me unconditionally as alot of his friends knew.
I wish I could go back in time, but we can't.
I will cherish ALL the memories and good times!
I love you my dear friend, my family also thought alot of you!
Enjoy Heaven LD!!!

My condolences to LD's family. He was a great friend to our family while we lived in Edenwood. Many fond memories of good times.
He will be missed by many, but always close in our hearts.

I'm was so saddened to hear of LD's passing. Having grown up in Edenwood and getting to know LD has always brought forth fond memories. He was a true and loyal friend - Always! I especially remember his old 69 Ford Fairlaine that he loved with a passion and was with him the day it got totaled. Mostly, I remember his faithfulness and those big blue eyes. LD - rest well my friend....I'll see you again someday when I take flight to our heavenly home!

My Condolences to the family.. There are so many memories of LD that I could share.. He was a life long friend.. Between us just hanging out back in the day to dirt track races at columbia speedway, thunder valley, swainsboro speedway & those nascar tracks.. Then there were those days at the softball games to those nights at the bowling alley.. Then those sunday mornings at Broadacres Baptist Church.. LD will be missed dearly.. But he will live on in our hearts & most of all he will live thru the memories we have been blessed to share with him throughout of times we spent with Ole LD.. Fly High my brother.. We will walk together again.. Thanks LD.. God Bless You..

We were together every Christmas, every Fourth of July, every Easter, sometimes surprise visits in between holidays, and of course those weeks in the summer spent at your house. From the time I was born you were there positively impacting my life more than you will ever know. You were my cousin, but also my lifelong friend. I will miss you and your laugh more than you will ever know. We will all be together again in Heaven and what a great day that will be! ♥️
