You will truly be missed. This news hurt me to my heart to hear about your passing. You were always full of joy and laughter. We always had a good time at the hospital and even if i wasn't assigned to watch you i would always come by and visit to check on you and talk. May you rest in peace. Officer Gore.

Jourdan was such a special young man. I was a assistant teacher at E. L. Wright Jourdan's 6th'-'8th grade. I was really sorry as well as hurt to hear that Jourdan had transitioned to be with the Lord. I thought about him often. Always remembering his beautiful smile. He will forever hold a place in my heart. May God bless his family and may the memories of Jourdan continue to give you great joy.

I will miss Jourdan Guess He rode the same bus I did. We were in the same class. We played basketball in PE. We gave each other fist bumps. We laughed together too. I will miss my friend.

I was only Jourdan's monitor on the school bus for the beginning of this recent school year, and in that time he was always such a pleasure. He always had his headphones ready for his MP3 player. He would sing and dance. I have one fond memory of jamming to "Thriller" with him. He started doing the dance in the seat. I was shattered upon hearimg of his passing. I will truly miss him. My condolences and heart go out the Guess family. A truly amazing young man will be missed.

I was one of Jourdan’s first teaching aides at RV, from his first day there his bright smile was one of the things that made my job worthwhile. I have fond memories of him performing with his arts class, he loved the spotlight! He spread more joy in his 21 years than most of us ever do! I will carry his smile in my heart always.

Jourdan will be missed. Every time he saw me he would call me Ms. Mary which is the name he gave me. I loved the fist bumps and the help in the concession stands during softball season.

Jourdan was never one of my students, but he was one student at Ridge View I’ll never forget. He would always pass my classroom on C-Hall and I would see his big smile and the “fist bumps” we exchanged. I know he will continue to touch the heart of anyone who knew him or met him. May he Rest In Peace.

My guy Jourdan or as I called him "pimpin" will be missed dearly. I used to look forward to seeing him on early weekend mornings as I did Baseball lessons with his brothers and sisters. "Pimpin" brought a lot of dancing energy and will be missed

The memory that we (I) have of Jourdan is when he came to the baseball games. He always cheered his brothers on. His smile was bright as a star. Every time I looked at Jourdan, no matter how I felt, I always smiled. Jourdan had a good heart, but that smile always lighten up the place. Jourdan, you're in a better place. Continue to take your rest. Trust me when I say this...you're going to be missed by plenty.
Love you Jourdan.

My favorite memory of Jourdan was on a car ride back from the airport in Charlotte. He had Sarah, our friend Hillary and myself crying with laughter at his funnies. To this day that is hands down my best laughter memory and I smile whenever I think of him. We love you and miss you Jourdan!

I loved how Sara would share the daily stories and adventures of Jourdan. I particularly remember asking Sara to bring the kids by for trick or treating cause I had Jourdan two cheeseburgers for his bag. His smile and expression was priceless.
