Obituary of Margaret Spencer Rabon

Margaret Spencer Rabon "Mama", 89, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away April 30, 2018 in her West Columbia home. She was born on April 12, 1929 in Gaffney, South Carolina to Thomas O. and Gertrude (Turner) Spencer.  She was a strong and beautiful woman who was always taking care of those who needed it most.  She was also a devoted and faithful wife.  MaMa spent a life well-lived in loving service to her family.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 68 years, Gene; children, Wayne E. Rabon (Marilyn), Glenn C. Rabon, Sharen Rabon Stoertz (Clifford); sisters, Gloria Spencer, Mary Lee, Jeannie Wells (DeRoy); grandchildren, Kristen, Callie, Halie and Lewis (Natalie).

The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home in Lexington on May 4, 2018 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 12:00 PM in the Chapel at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington.  Interment will be in Woodridge Memorial Park.
