Obituary of Emma Green Waters

CAYCE - A private funeral service for Emma Sue Green Waters, 87, will be held at Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia is assisting the family.Mrs. Waters, widow of Britt Herman Waters, died Thursday, October 28, 2010. Born in Forest City, NC, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Carrie Green. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Waters was retired from Capital City Manufacturing. Formerly of Cayce, SC she had been a resident at The Oaks in Orangeburg, SC.Surviving are her daughters, Barbara Sue Roe (Thomas) of Cope, Mary F. Wilhite (Estin) of Beech Island and Alice D. Bull (Lamar) of West Columbia; son, Raymond L. Waters (Joyce) of Cayce; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
