Obituary of Gabriella Jewel Shumate

Gabriella "Ella" Jewel Shumate WEST COLUMBIA- Gabriella "Ella" Jewel Shumate, born on April 26, 2007, to Dacia & Devin Shumate was taken tragically in a traffic accident on Monday, May 16, 2011. Ella was an exuberant, precocious four-year old who instantly stole hearts with crystal blue-green eyes and her vivacious princess spirit. She expected all to pay attention to her and attended to all, making everyone her friend. She is deeply missed by her parents, three brothers, Tanner, Anson and Joseph, Grammas and Grampas, as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins. Although her parting is sad, we are blessed to have spent four joyous years with our beautiful Ella, and the knowledge that families are forever gives peace and assurance of our sweet reunion. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Services will be on Saturday, May 21st at 11a.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1330 Whippoorwill Dr, West Columbia.
