Obituary of Winslow Wise

Winslow Myers Wise CAYCE—Funeral services for Winslow Myers Wise, of Cayce, will be held on at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Pineview Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Brandon Sandifer. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia on Monday, August 15, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Mr. Wise passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011. Born on September 30, 1930 in Swansea, SC to the late Carl David Wise and Jeanette Saylor Wise. He retired from Columbia National Linen and from Carolina Eastman. He was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church in Swansea and attended Pineview Baptist Church in West Columbia. Surviving Mr. Wise is his wife of 59 years, Betty Jaco Wise; daughter Jan Wise of Cayce; son Carl "Bo" Wise (Sherry) of West Columbia; two grandsons, Tyler and Carl Wise.
