Obituary of Shadie Wooley

Shadie Elaine Wooley WEST COLUMBIA: Service for Shadie Elaine Wooley, 82, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011, in the Fellowship Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Don Bell. Interment will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 4238 Augusta Rd., Lexington, SC 29072. Mrs. Wooley went to be with her Lord Thursday, November 3, 2011. Born in Saluda County, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Henry Lorick and Winnie Kathleen Shealy Lorick. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors are: her loving husband of 65 years, Andrew Luther Wooley of West Columbia; sons, Jerry Wooley (Shirley) of Lexington, Billy Wooley (Barbara) of Hampton, VA, Henry Wooley (Kathy) of Columbia and Eric Wooley (Junko) of West Columbia; sisters, Derrell Storey of Batesburg, Penny Cockrell of Batesburg and Kathleen Are of Marietta, GA; brother, John Lester "Pete" Lorick of Batesburg; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
