Obituary of Howard Riley

Howard Edwin Riley WEST COLUMBIA: Services for Howard Edwin Riley, 62, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Burial will be at Reading Cemetery, Reading, OH, at a later date. The family will receive friends from 5 until 6 p.m., one hour prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605. Mr. Riley passed away Monday, January 9, 2012. Born in Cincinnati, OH, he was a son of the late Allen Thomas Riley and Juanita Ruth Dillon Riley. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Reading, OH. Mr. Riley was retired from Calhoun County EMS. He was a former reserve Police Officer for St. Matthews, SC; was a member of Wyoming Masonic Lodge #1866, Scottish Rite and the Syrian Shrine Temple. Surviving are his wife, Deborah Wells Riley of West Columbia; sons, Sean R. Riley (Danielle) of Dayton, OH and Casey H. Riley (Mary) of Cincinnati, OH; daughters, Shannon Ruth Perron (Brian) of Florence, KY, step-daughter, Ann Marie Bradley (Jeff) of Cincinnati, OH and step-daughter, Amy Catherine Baker (John) of Franklin, OH; brother, Allen Riley of Mason, OH; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
