Obituary of Stephen LaBrian Painter

Stephen (Steve) LaBrian Painter, Sr., 51, of Hopkins, SC, died March 17, 2012 at home. He was born February 19, 1961. Steve was a pipe fitter on many construction sites. Memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on March 24, 2012 in Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Visitation will be from 2 to 3pm Saturday in Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The family would like to thank the Amedisys Hospice Staff and services for their outstanding service and support. In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to Amedisys Hospice Service, 220 Stonebridge Dr., Suite 105, Columbia, SC 29210. Surviving: mother and stepfather, Mary Ann and Lester Humphries; children: Crystal Ridgell (Justin), Kevin Fitzsimmons (JoAnne), Stephen Painter, Jr., Jessica Painter, Mackenzie Painter, and 3 stepchildren; wife, Terry F. Painter; brother, Donnie Hadden (Stefanie); sister, Katelyn Humphries; stepsisters and brothers: Wanda Susie Christopher, Angie Corteville, Monica Brazell, Tonya Johnson (Ron), and Kelly Humphries (Alice); 8 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
