Obituary of Annie Goff Jackson

WEST COLUMBIA:Funeral service for Annie Rose Goff Jackson, 92, will be held at 11 o?clock today, Friday, December 31, 2010, at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Larry Hayes. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, 3050 Leaphart Rd., West Columbia, SC 29169. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia is assisting the family. Mrs. Jackson, wife of the late Bennie Jackson, died Wednesday, December 29, 2010, in Greer, SC. Born in the Leesville-Batesburg area on September 24, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Boyd Goff and Nancy Stevens Goff. Mrs. Jackson was retired from Pacific Mills where she worked for forty-four years. She lived in West Columbia for more than sixty years and was a member of Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church. Surviving are her two sons, Bennie Wayne Jackson (Martha) of Kannapolis, NC and Timothy Boyd Jackson (Nancy) of Moore, SC; also five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to thank Mrs. Jackson?s many caregivers, and the staff of the Cottages at Brushy Creek Nursing Center in Greer, SC.
