Obituary of F. Andonaegui

Services for F. Anne Andonaegui, 74, of Columbia will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 in the Chapel of Greenlawn Funeral Home, Leesburg Road. Officiating will be Dr. Jack Heinshon of Spring Valley Presbyterian Church. A private interment with the family will be held at a later date at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Andonaegui was born, January 7, 1937 in LaGrange, GA. Mrs. Andonaegui died Sunday, December 19, 2010. She was a military wife, a homemaker, and later worked for J.B. Whites. Surviving are her husband, Major (Ret.) James R. ?Andy? Andonaegui of Columbia; daughters, Gia Marie (Michael) of Pooler, GA, Carmen Andonaegui of Rock Island, WA, Teresa ?Tessie? Andonaegui, and Mary Rose ?Rosie? Poole both of Columbia, SC. Grandchildren are Richard Blake Poole, Chelsea Nicole Inabinet, Elijah Luke Dotson, Haley Danielle Poole, Charlotte Alana French, and Clayton Michael French. The family would like to express their appreciation for longtime caregiver and friend, Ms. Mamie Tillman. Additionally, our gratitude to the staff at White Oak Manor Nursing Home for the excellent care and love shown to our wife, mother, and grandmother during her prolonged illness. The daughters wish to give heartfelt thanks to our father for his devotion and loving care to our mother.
