Obituary of Martin O'Cain

A funeral service celebrating the life of Curtis Martin O?Cain, 68, of Irmo, SC will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday morning in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements Mrs. O?Cain departed this earthly life on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. She was born in Orangeburg, SC to the late Floyd Curtis Martin and Annie Laurie Kolb Martin. Mrs. O?Cain was a member of East Lake Community Church in Irmo, SC. Mrs. O?Cain was predeceased by her husband, CSM (Ret.) Tommie Doyle O?Cain; a daughter, Tammy Jo O?Cain; a granddaughter, Jillian Dianne Cook; and her sisters, Barbara Kinard and Lee Kimmerlen. Surviving are her loving daughters, Terri Lynn O?Cain Hall and her husband Kevin Hall and Lila O?Cain Cook and her husband SSG Robert Cook; her loving sons, Tommie Doyle O?Cain, Jr. and his wife Joyce Lynn O?Cain and Russell Martin O?Cain and his wife Shannon Mary O?Cain; a sister, JoAnn Robinson; 13 grandchildren, Justin Thornton, Matthew Thornton, Amanda Jo Shirley, Lindsey Dawn O?Cain, Anna Beth Shirley, Michael Hall, Kelsie Dailey, Jordan Tyler O?Cain, Coribeth Cook, Zachary O?Cain, Abbigail Morgan O?Cain, Savanna Hope Cook, and Parker Jace O?Cain; 1 great-grandchild to be expected; and a host of other loving relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
