Obituary of Charles Eugene

A graveside service for Charles Eugene Lee, 53, of Columbia will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011 in Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Shane Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service on Friday at Greenlawn Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be sent to www.greenlawnmemorialparkandfh.com. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Mr. Lee departed this earthly life on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. He was born in Columbia, SC to Louise McKay and the late Robert M. Lee, Sr. Charles enjoyed working with others as a handyman and at Lizard?s Thicket Restaurant. He cared about helping others that he came in contact with. Charles loved going fishing with his mother, Louise and enjoying conversations with his special uncle, Johnny McKay. Surviving are his loving mother, Louise McKay; his twin brother, Jimmy Lee, other siblings, Robert Lee and Carolyn (Pat) Lesesne; a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and friends that will miss him dearly.
