Obituary of George Magoolaghan

George Morris Magoolaghan died from injuries suffered in a car accident January 31, 2012. He was a great father, wonderful husband, and terrific son. He loved his family and was a friend to everyone. George was born in Cedar City, Utah and is the son of Jack Magoolaghan (wife Sandra) and Jolene Greene Mitchell (husband John). He attended school in New England and graduated from Kings Park High School in New York. He attended college in New Hampshire before moving to Florida. He and his wife, Jessica, of 10 years were married in Florida where they lived with their two sons, Dalton and Gavin. They moved to South Carolina in 2009 and have loved living in Lexington. George worked for Verizon Cellular Sales. His greatest happiness came from the time he spent with his wife and boys. In addition to his wife, sons, and his parents; George is also survived by a step brother, John Frederick, uncles; Willard, Bennett, Tim, and Gerry, aunts: Charlotte, Beth, and Joan and one grandmother Bernice Greene. He is preceded in death by his grandparents John and Vivian Magoolaghan and Morris Greene. Funeral services for George Morris Magoolaghan will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4440 Fort Jackson Blvd, Columbia, SC with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Serenity Gardens.
