Obituary of PAUL CABLE

Paul David ?Pop? Cable Funeral services for MSgt. Paul David ?Pop? Cable (USAF Retired) will be held 3:30pm Friday, September 24, 2010 at Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:30pm until the hour of the service. Mr. Cable passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. He was born September 29, 1935 in Versailles, MO to Francis David Cable and Gladys Fern Kidwell Cable. Mr. Cable served as a Jet Engine Mechanic in the US Air Force for many years prior to retirement. Following his military service he worked with the State of South Carolina, retiring after 15 years of service. Surviving are his loving wife, Gladys Marie Cable; daughter, Janet Lynne Shell of Elgin; son, David Cable (wife Bonnie) of Lugoff; brothers, Earl Gene Cable of Groavis, MO, Jack Cable of Independence, MO and Dan Joe Cable of Osage Beach, MO; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Sam B. Cable. Memorials in honor of Mr. Cable may be made to the American Heart Association.
