Obituary of Justin Groves

A funeral service for Justin Daniel Groves, 20, of Eastover will be held at 1:30p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Horrell Hill Baptist Church, 920 Horrell Hill Road, Hopkins, SC 29061 with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday evening at the church. Joseph Brazier, Jason Brazier, Chris Seiple, Joshua Weeks, Addison Harms and Charles Fordjour will serve as pallbearers. Jeffrey Seiple, Justin Moody, Ethan Moody and Perry Butts will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Justin departed this earthly life Friday morning, October 29, 2010. He was born in Bartow, Florida to Shelby Lynn Turner Groves and William Howard Groves. Justin was a member of Horrell Hill Baptist Church in which he was involved in the Faith Group. Justin was a 2008 graduate from Lower Richland High School. He was currently employed with Providence Hospital. Justin is together in Heaven with his fiancée, Kathleen Grady, sister-in-law, Amara Drennon and his nephew, Caleb Julian Groves. Surviving are his loving parents, Shelby and William Groves; his brother, Trevor Groves; grandparents, Dale & Dorothy Shultz, Bobby & Eunice Turner, and Carolyn Groves; his great-grandmother, Barbara Seiple; aunts, Karen Moody and Heather Turner; uncles, Bill All, Carl (Connie) Bolin, and Gary Bolin; special cousins, Joshua Weeks and Peyton All; a host of numerous great aunts & uncles, cousins, and friends that will miss him dearly. Justin was predeceased by his great-grandparents, Harold Seiple, Floyd & Gloria McKee and Katherine & Julian Turner.
