Obituary of Theo Wise Turner

A funeral service celebrating the life of Theo Virginia Wise Turner, 73, of Gadsden, SC will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Richland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Gadsden, SC. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Mrs. Turner departed this earthly life to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 30, 2010. She was born in Calhoun County, SC to the late Daniel Wise and Pearl Wannamaker Wise. Mrs. Turner was a faithful member of Eason Memorial Baptist Church in Eastover, SC. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and a friend to all. Surviving are her loving husband of 54 years, Barnard B. Turner, Jr.; two daughters, Harriett T. (Todd) Armstrong and Melba T. (David E. ) Cannon; a son, Barnard B. (Elizabeth) Turner, III; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Margie (Jimmy) Dixon, Grace Whitaker, and Deola (L.S.) Williams; and a host of other loving relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. Memorials may be sent to Richland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, P.O.
