Obituary of MARVIN CROFT

Funeral services for Marvin Lanier Croft, 77, of Columbia, will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 8, 2010 at Pine Bluff Baptist Church with Reverend David Covington officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 am until the hour of the service at the church. Greenlawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Mr. Croft passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2010. He was born May 27, 1933 in Barnwell County, SC to the late Ernest Croft Sr. and Inez Warren Croft. Mr. Croft was veteran of the U. S. Army, a retired auto technician, and a lifetime member of Pine Bluff Baptist Church. Surviving are his loving wife, Jeanette C. Croft; son, Steven Croft (wife Debbie); daughters, Wanda Wiseman (husband Milton) and Renee Esdorn (husband Dick); brother, Richard E. Croft (wife Dot); sister, Camilla Chavis (husband Bobby); four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Memorials for Mr. Croft may be made to Pine Bluff Baptist Church, Pineview Drive Columbia, SC.
