Obituary of Helen Booth

Helen Simmons Booth, 78, passed away on December 23, 2010 with her family by her side. Born in Rock Run, AL, she was the daughter of the late John F. Simmons and Jewel W. Simmons. Ms. Booth was retired from Fort Jackson, S.C., where she worked as a civilian employee for the U.S. Army for 42 years. She is survived by her brother, Bobby F. Simmons; a daughter, Tami B.(Tad) Reed; daughter-in-law, Kay Lloyd; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas L. Booth and a son Gary M. Lloyd. Graveside services will be in Williamsburg, VA. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association in Helen?s memory. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements.
