Obituary of Barbara Morales

Barbara Ann Morales CAYCE—A graveside service for Barbara Ann Morales, 78, of Cayce will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in Woodridge Memorial Park. Officiating will be Mr. Stephen Morales. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Mrs. Morales, beloved wife of Kenneth Morales, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011. Born in South Dayton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Crowell and Ruth Danker Crowell. She had been an area resident since 1977 formerly of South Dayton, NY. Barbara earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Buffalo. She retired as Chief of Chemistry from James Byrnes Hospital and Manager of the Medical Technology Lab. She dearly loved her family especially doting on her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Surviving in addition to her husband, Kenneth Morales; daughters, Debora Morales and Denise Brown; sons, Stephen Morales, Gregory Morales and Brian Morales; four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Matthew, Andrew and Joel; sister, Phyllis Paul and her brother, Norton Crowell.
