Obituary of Barbara Leach

Barbara B. Leach WEST COLUMBIA—A graveside service for Barbara B. Leach, 70, of West Columbia, will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2011 in the Mausoleum at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Memorials may be made to Breast Cancer Foundation, 1759 R Street NW, Washington, DC 20009 or Tri County Hospice, 166 Stonebridge Drive, Ste. 100, Columbia, SC 29210. Mrs. Leach passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011. Born in Aiken, she was the daughter of the late Herman Bodie and Addy Wells Bodie. Formerly of Aiken, she was an area resident since 1955. She retired after many years of loyal service from the South Carolina Highway Department. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Romona and Gus Tinsley of West Columbia; grandchild, Bear Tinsley; son, James T.
