Obituary of James Keisler

James Larry Keisler CAYCE—Mr. James Larry Keisler died Thursday, August 18, 2011 in the Providence Hospital. Born May 3, 1943 in Lexington County he was the son of the late James Crosson Keisler and Mrytle Keisler Hendrix. He was currently employed with the South Carolina State Library. Previously he worked at the South Carolina Department of Revenue. He was a member of Cayce United Methodist Church. Mr. Keisler is survived by his wife, Linda Jaco Keisler; his son, Larry Brittain Keisler; his daughter-in-law, Nikki Anne Keisler; his sister, Debbie Hight. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Douglas Hendrix and his sister, Shirley Davis. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Cayce United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Keisler's honor, to God's Helping Hands, PO box 5462, Cayce, SC 29171.
