Obituary of Anita Meade

Mrs. Anita Y. Meade, wife of the late Grady C. Meade, died Wednesday. She was 86. Mrs. Meade was born in Bakersville, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Carroll and Lillian Young. Mrs. Meade was a member of Kilbourne Park Baptist Church and a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. Survivors include her son Michael (Kay) of Columbia; brothers, Cliffton Young (Ruth), Warner Robbins, Ga., Billie and Susan Meade, Mooresville, N.C., Don Meade (Evelyn), Bainebridge, Ga.; grandson Matthew Marshall and great granddaughter Campbell Marshall of Johnson City, Tn. The family would like to thank White Oak Manor for the loving care Mrs. Meade received as a resident. Private services will be held for Mrs. Meade. Greenlawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
