Obituary of Nadine Matthews

Nadine Matthews LEXINGTON-Funeral services for Nadine Matthews, 75, of Lexington, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2011, at Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Cummins. Interment will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Mrs. Matthews, widow of Leo Matthews, died Friday, December 16, 2011. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Oliver and Pauline Sharpe Yarborough. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Pam Temple of Batesburg; sons, David Matthews of Gilbert and Buck Matthews of Lexington; six grandchildren, Kacy Matthews, Toby Matthews, Jessica Temple, Madalyn Matthews, Chantal Matthews and Joeshie Temple; three great-grandchildren, Miya, Bryston, Camron Williams; and sister, Margie Temple of Lexington.
