Obituary of Randall Crumpton

Randall James Crumpton WEST COLUMBIA: Service for Randall J. Crumpton, 81, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at Congaree Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Bill Messer. Interment will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Robby Crumpton, Ronnie Crumpton, Ryan Crumpton, Trey Foster, Scott Claggett and Eric Claggett. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Memorials may be made to Congaree Baptist Church, Building Fund, 101 Pine Ridge Dr., West Columbia, SC 29172. Mr. Crumpton went to be with his Lord, Monday, December 19, 2011. Born in Lexington County, SC, he was a son of the late James Crumpton and Ester Shumpert Crumpton. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Congaree Baptist Church. Mr. Crumpton was the owner and operator of United Security Service. Survivors are: his loving wife, Ruth Crumpton of West Columbia; sons, Robert Crumpton of Salley and Raymond Crumpton of West Columbia; brother, Crawford Crumpton of S. Congaree; grandchildren, Ryan Crumpton of West Columbia, Robby Crumpton (Leigh Anne) of Salley, Ronnie Crumpton (Dawn) of Columbia, Ridge Crumpton of West Columbia; great grandchildren, Cooper, Brooklyn and Grayson Crumpton of Columbia also his best friend and loyal pet, Bozo.
