Obituary of V.Carol Adams

A funeral service celebrating the life of Vivian Carol Adams, 69, of Hopkins will be held at 1:00p.m. Friday, December 30, 2011 in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend H. Laverne Hancock and Reverend Ben Newman officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00p.m. until the hour of the service on Friday at the funeral home. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Mrs. Adams departed this earthly life on Saturday, December 24, 2011. She was born in Rockingham, NC to the late Julius E. Fox and Edna Neeley Fox. Mrs. Adams was a member of Mt. Elon Baptist Church in Hopkins, SC. Surviving are her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, Thomas R. Adams; sons, Rick (Julie Ann) Adams and Jimmy Adams; a grandson, Ricky Adams; her sister, Dorothy (Vernon) Brown and four nephews, Dale (Doris), Lee (Margaret), Michael, & Kenny (Annie) Benton; her lifelong and devoted friends, Carolyn and Burnell Jones; a host of other loving relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
