Obituary of Lucille Alexander

Lucille Alexander SWANSEA: Services for Lucille Alexander, 78, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church in Swansea, officiated by Rev. H. Larry Jones. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church, P.O. Box 219, Swansea, SC 29160. Mrs. Alexander died Saturday, December 24, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Florence, SC, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Pauline Evans. She was a member of St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Alexander was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Mack B. Alexander; her sisters, Lillie Mae Peters and Daisy Lee Knight, and a brother, Albert "Sonny" Evans, Jr. Surviving are: daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Petey Bailey, Linda and Leon Sharpe, all of Swansea; sons and daughter-in-law, Oral Larry and Vicky Alexander of Swansea; Marvin Alexander of Myrtle Beach; sisters, Jean Alexander (Charles "PeeWee") of Pamplico, Annie Ruth Yarborough (Willard) of Scranton, Iva Nell Deglman of Hartsville; sister-in-law, Jeanette Evans of West Columbia; grandchildren, Brandie and Michael Crider, Dustin and Patti Bailey, Travis Sharpe, McKenzie Alexander, Jordan Alexander, Buddy Scott and Marietta Alexander, Anna Alexander; great grandchildren, Logan, Jonathan and Kaitlin Crider.
