Obituary of JOHN HANCOCK

Services for John Hancock, 62, of Columbia, will be held 2 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2012 at Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Hancock passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012. He was born on April 27, 1949 in Columbia, SC to the late Holly Jay and Ruby Mae Hancock. Surviving are his sisters, Lena Spires and Bonnie Buggs; his brothers, Ronnie Hancock and Jimmy Hancock (wife Debra); and his nephews, Bobby Gene Taylor Jr. and William Tracy Taylor.
