Ashley Rose "Taco" Vasquez GASTON: A memorial service for Ashley Rose "Taco" Vasquez, 20, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Father Anthony Giunta. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Miss Vasquez died Monday, January 9, 2012. Born in Naples, FL, she was a daughter of Emma Lee Vasquez. Ashley had many loving friends. She was unique in her own way and will be dearly missed by many but never forgotten. Our Angel has finally spread her wings. "Te amo con todo mi corozon." Surviving is her mother, Emma Vasquez of Gaston; sisters, Christina McClellan of Immokalee, FL and Felisha Vasquez of Gaston; brother, Mitchell McClellan of Immokalee, FL; and a niece, Emmalee Tarafa of Gaston.
