Obituary of Claire Teal

Claire W. Teal GASTON: Memorial service for Claire W. Teal, 68, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012, in the Chapel of Thompsons Funeral Home of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. prior to service at the funeral home. Mrs. Teal passed away January 21, 2012. Born in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wall and Camilla Eliza Fountain Wall. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and devoted friend to many. She was a leader and member of many local clubs. Mrs. Teal was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and volunteering in her community. Surviving are her son, Rick Teal of Gaston; daughter, Susan Teal of Cayce; a brother, Jerry Wall (Deborah) of NC; a sister-in-law, Jackie Hazen of Rockingham, NC; three grandchildren, Justin Edward Teal, Ashley Elizabeth Teal, and Rachel Lynn Little; Jane Teal of Darlington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
