Obituary of Wade Lorick

WEST COLUMBIA—A graveside service for Wade C. Lorick, 83, of West Columbia, will be held Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. J. Wayne Smith, Jr. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia is assisting the family. Mr. Lorick passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Wade H. Lorick and Mary F. Lorick. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp and served with pride and honor "Semper Fi". Wade was a retired contractor. Surviving are daughters, Debbie L. Gunter (Guy) of Columbia and Tammie L. Bloxom of Lexington; sons, Wade C. Lorick, Jr. of Columbia, Stan G. Lorick (Tammy) of Chapin and Jody T. Lorick (Sandy) of Fountain Inn; sister, Margie Howell (John) of Cayce and a brother, Carroll Lorick (Claudette) of West Columbia; and twelve loving grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Skolfield and a brother, John Lorick.
