Obituary of Frances Jones

WEST COLUMBIA—A graveside service will be held for Frances W. Jones, 91, of West Columbia at 4 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 in Celestial Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Chaplain Yu-Fong Chong. The family will receive friends from 3:30-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at Celestial Memorial Gardens. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 805 Buff Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. Frances passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012, born in Lincolnton, GA; she was the daughter of the late Robert Jones and Janie Jones. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia and retired from Palmetto Baptist Hospital after many years of loyal service. Surviving is her nephew, Michael Painter and wife, Cynthia; great-nephew, Christopher Painter and his wife, Julie; one great-great nephew and two great-great nieces. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred J. Painter.
