Obituary of DAISY MANN

Daisy C. Mann, 91, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012. She was born August 8, 1920 in Richland County in Lykesland, SC. She was a daughter of the late Thomas Campbell and Annie Strange Campbell. She graduated from Consolidated High School (Lower Richland High) in 1938. She lived in Columbia most of her life, and was a longtime member of Rosewood Baptist Church until 1999 when she moved to Jenkinsville to be closer to her children. She later moved her membership to Little River Baptist Church. Mrs. Mann is survived by her husband of 70½ years, Cecil C. Mann, Sr.; two sons, Charles (Peggy) and Ronnie (Barbara); four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; ten nieces and five nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her four sisters: Allie, Mammie, Dot and Annie Mae; one brother, Thomas; her brothers and sisters-in-law on both sides; along with five nephews and one niece. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the entire hospice team at Palmetto Health for their care; as well as her two grandchildren, Deborah and Stephen for all that they did. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the hour of the service on Wednesday at Greenlawn Funeral Home.
