Obituary of Frances Dykes

Frances Ingraffia Dykes, 91, of Columbia passed away peacefully at Providence Hospital on Monday, February 13, 2012. Mrs. Dykes, widow of Marion J. Dykes, was born in Independence, Louisiana on April 7, 1920 to Rosario and Josephine Ingraffia. She attended Independence High School and Southeastern Louisiana College. Frances is survived by her sons, H. Joseph (Kathryn) Dykes, John (Candy) Dykes, and David (Pam) Dykes; her brother, Sam Ingraffia; grandchildren, Kathryn, Jason, Kelly, Stephanie, Christopher (Lisa), Lindsey and John; great-grandchild, Colm; a host of other loving relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. A funeral mass will be held for Mrs. Frances Ingraffia Dykes at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Saint Joseph?s Catholic Church on Devine Street with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.at Greenlawn Funeral Home.
