Obituary of Fay Williams

WEST COLUMBIA: Memorial service for Fay Settles Williams, 70, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Fellowship Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Don Bell. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. this Friday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Memorials may be made to God's Miracle Fund, c/o Fellowship Baptist Church, 4238 Augusta Rd., Lexington, SC 29073. Mrs. Williams went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Born in Columbus, GA, she was a daughter of the late Henry Dewey Settles and Mary Evelyn Sparks Settles. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and TOPS. Surviving is her loving husband of 52 years, Terry Williams of West Columbia; daughter, Shannon Dillard (Jamey) of Lexington; sons, Mark Williams (Mandy) of N. Charleston and Steve Williams of Summerville; daughter-in-law, Beth Williams of Ridgeville; brother, James Settles (Peggy) of Fredericksburg, VA; five grandchildren, Clint, Nicholas, Gregory, Ryan and Kaitlyn; and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by a son, T. Walton Williams.
