Obituary of Terrell Emanuel

ST. MATTHEWS: Services for Terrell "Red" Emanuel, Jr., 72, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 29, 2012, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Rev. Brian Lee. Interment will follow at Woodridge Memorial Park with Masonic Rites. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Epps, Randy Epps, Keith Dawkins, Mark Seibert, Rhett Seibert and Randy Birt. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. this Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Emanuel passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012. Born in Clio, SC, he was a son of the late Terrell Wilson Emanuel, Sr., and Evelyn Mills Emanuel. He was the owner of Jimmy's Pit Stop, St. Matthews . Mr. Emanuel was a member of Mariner Masonic Lodge #2, A.F.M. and Omar Shrine Temple; and was also a member of the Brookland-Cayce Luncheon Group "Old Bearcats". Surviving is his loving wife, Frances Creech Emanuel of St. Matthews; son, Joe Emanuel (Nancy) of Lexington; sisters, Louise Epps and Sandra Wooley (George) of West Columbia; brother, Wayne Emanuel (June) of Lexington.
